I think she went "oh" three too many times. And the ending simply means that Nissa will realize that it wasn't Ulamog that cut her power. It could be...

Ob Nixilis Reignited. Mwahahaha!!

The whole Nissa-child-of-nature thing is interesting, but I agree that the storytelling is starting to get a bit repetitive with respect to it.

I want to go back to Jace and see him beef it out with Ugin. That's going to be interesting.

This story was really boring. I'm not satisfied with any of it, and it barely progressed the main bfz story line. It would have been just as easy and made just as much sense to say Nissa started her expedition searching for the Khalni heart because it's what made sense to go to instead of having filler to lead her there.

Exactly. This was 99% rehashed fluff. Barely a kernel of new information.

This story probably would have been worth it if there was some sign or confirmation that On Nixilis did indeed attack or steal the soul of Zendikar... But nope. Blegh, boring.

I wish that I could say that I liked this week's story, but not enough occurred in it for me to say that it was excellent. It is good that Nissa may finally have regained her connection to Zendikar, and thus, her powers, but the rest of the story was too uneventful for my liking. I suppose that the scenes with the goblins were intended to add drama to the story, but it was nothing that has not been shown, already. Hopefully, next week's story shall be better; I expect that it shall focus on either Jace or Gideon, building the suspense for Nissa's story.

Jace is journeying to solve the puzzle of hedrons, and Gideon is rallying the people of Zendikar. Nissa is doing what she always does: tree hugging.

...and goblins, apparently.

I would prefer this entire UR just be about the goblin with Nissa making an appearance.

Yea, this was by far my least favorite of the URs in the last few weeks. I really expected something big to happen by the end, considering the slow pace of the story, but was only disappointed by the time I read the last line.
