Introducing the captain of the guard, Adriana. In which she watches Kaya assassinate Brago, literally spits in Marchesa's face, and begins to rally the citizens to revolution.

Something very interesting was that Brago has destroyed the Academy. Wonder what exactly that means for the attendees.

I liked this story. Short, but with a good amount of stuffing.
Also I'm pretty excited for the new Kaya card. Will it be a standard powerhouse? Probably not. But it's by no means a bad Planeswalker, and all three of its modes can be useful immediately.

I believe Kaya is not legal in either Standard or Modern.

Correct. New cards in this Conspiracy set (like Kaya) will only be legal in eternal formats (Legacy, Vintage, Commander, etc.).

Well, notice I did say she probably WOULDN'T be a standard powerhouse. So I rest my case. :)
But also. Anyone wondering if we'll see a new Sydri card? She's mentioned in one of the old stories, but AFAIK only has a card from the Commander 13 set.

I doubt it. Seeing as Daretti is on the face of one of the packs, he's more likely to get a card. I wonder what happened to Muzzio, now that the Academy is in ruins. Oh, you get it? Academy Ruins? Hehehe...

Marchesa certainly is quite a skilled and powerful manipulator, to be able to overthrow the previous king and take the throne, herself, with such ruthless efficiency.
Adriana will definitely have her own card, since she is obviously a major character in the story, and I wonder if Kaya will have any further involvement in the story, as well?
Given the circumstances under which Marchesa ascended to the throne, her own position of power is likely to be very unstable, and she shall need to be very careful that she, herself, is not overthrown.

I get the feeling the rebels (Adrianna and probably Selvala) will team up with the underground remnants of the Academy. Which would make the three factions so far White/Green Rebels (Selvala is W/G and Adrianna is def mono-W), their Blue/Red Allies (Muzzio and Daretti) and Marchesa's forces (U/B/R). All in all, a great story.
