I wouldn't be surprised if the Return to Theros was the next block after Kaladesh... Also, what was Tamiyo talking about there at the end...? Emrakul changed her super secret scroll or something..? It all seems very interesting... Also this is the most clues we have to the true nature of the Eldrazi... it'll be interesting to see where this goes..

Tamiyo said that the spell was supposed to bring devastation to everything in the world, which I assume included Emrakul. Instead, somehow Emrakul changed the spell so that it merely provided the energy to seal her in the moon, thereby preserving her entity.
I love the fact that the gatewatch "won" but Emrakul still had the last word.

Man this is actually really sad when I think about it. I wonder if Tamiyo can admire or even research moons anymore.

The Gatewatch can only take a Pyrrhic victory; if you can really call it that. Emrakul got what she wanted.
Ask yourself this: why would she edit such a powerful scroll in a way that could've destroyed only the Gatewatch, but instead used it to seal herself in the moon. I think we're going to learn about why Emrakul wanted to be sealed in the moon when The Gatewatch gets Sorin out and he explains why Emrakul in the moon is probably the worst thing in the world

Emrakul's brothers are dead. Furthermore, upon realising that she couldn't do what she wanted with Innistrad, and fearing that the same fate would occur to her as did her brothers, she sought self preservation within the moon.
Also, I find it interesting that the story referred to her as "the World-Ender. The World-Creator.".
Could it be that, not only do Eldrazi destroy planes, but CREATE them as well? Convert an entire plane (possibly dying) into raw mana, then reinvest that mana into a new plane. On their own, they can only destroy a plane. But together, they could shape new ones (Kozilek would be responsible for placing natural constraints upon the world (ie gravity), Emrakul, living tissue, and Ulamog... uh, life? Idk).

Most amusing part was when Emrakul and Jace sat down, had a chat, and played a game of chess. Wtf?

From what the article seemed to say, Emrakul took control of Tamiyo and willing had herself sealed away. She was rambling on about how the time wasn't right. I don't think we've seen the last of our giant flying spaghetti monster.
Also, extra flavor for Emrakul, the Promised End's ability to Mindslaver a player coming into effect in the article.

Extra flavor for Fall of the Titans being unable to kill Emrakul no matter how much mana you put into it bc instant. And also that if you control a person during their turn and they have an Imprisoned in the Moon, it will pretty much only hit Emrakul if you want it to.

This story was super cool, I loved the World-Creator thing, it definitely seems that Ugin may have been right about the Jacetice League being to hasty in destroying Ulamog and Kozilek. Very excited for the next time we see Emrakul.

It would be awesome if it turns out that Ulamog and Kozilek were holding back Emrakul in some way, and with them gone she will be nigh-unstoppable. Or that the three will release a bigger evil when destroyed. The second theory is really old but it would be awesome to see it happen.

This story was definitely an excellent one, especially with how the victory against Emrakul was a Pyrrhic one, leaving the heroes with a sense of uncertainty and emptiness, rather than victory and elation. Since Emrakul was imprisoned, rather than being destroyed, I expect that it will eventually appear, again, at some point in the distant future.
I see that Liliana is now hoping to exploit the others, which is in-character for her, but I am displeased with how two multi-colored planeswalkers have refused to join the others; I certainly hope that the Gatewatch shall not be composed entirely of mono-colored planeswalkers. It was interesting at how both the Raven Man and the Chain Veil were wary of Emrakul, demonstrating how insanely powerful the eldrazi titan is, but I also liked how using the Chain Veil so extensively put a great strain on Liliana, meaning that she stills desires to be rid of it and that it shall not be easy for her to do so. I will definitely be interested to see what happens next with Liliana's relationship with the others.
What shall happen to Innistrad, now? I do hope that the next story shows the aftermath of the battle, and how the plane shall recover.

Pretty much confirmed that one of Tamiyo's forbidden scrolls is Catastrophe, which is neat. (Previously, she's said one of her spells is dangerous and from Serra, then the spell Emrakul rewrote was a wrath so if you add two and two together...)

I would argue for the spell to be Planar Cleansing, seeing how mechanic wise it kills creatures and planeswalkers.

Obviously it's open to interpretation, but in Stories and Endings, the second to last SOI story, Tamiyo and Jace connect minds and Jace tells her to use "The iron scroll. You showed it to me. An old story. A powerful story. The survivors of a place that was lost...Serra's realm." I think that's points pretty heavily to Catastrophe.

You've convinced me, but then that technically means Tamiyo was lying when she told Jace that they wouldn't have been there, unless destroying all lands means destroying the plane itself.

I've often wondered what destroying land is flavor-wise. I think destroying all lands could easily be "destroy the plane." Then again, Tamiyo lying to the annoying little telepath baby would also make a lot of sense. She didn't know if this half-mad dude would care if others died so she said it would kill him too.

I liked hot mental Jace-on-Jace action. That's the only time he's been interesting in his whole life. The characters in the Jacetice League are too underdeveloped.

on the one hand, I hate Jace with a passion. On the other hand, it's hard to hate someone who plays both of my two favourite games. He's also one of the best walkers for AotP. My head is so conflicted...
I don't think Tamiyo lied. I think she's still keeping important information from him, but I think she told the truth on that one.

Did Nissa die at the end? They were so vague about it. It's longer than most story articles, but it was worth it. This one was definitely the best one next to "I am Avacyn."
Also, does anyone else get the feeling we get to return to Theros during Gideon's "bout" with Erebos? I think it's going to happen.
