I always thought Atlas held the world, but I was recently told he holds the sky. This made more sense for the new Bearer of the Heavens . But now I'm curious, is Weight of the Underworld a reference to a titan or god?
In my mind Weight of the Underworld and Bearer of the Heavens both reference the titan Atlas from greek mythology because Atlas's punishment was that he was on top of Mount Orthos which fell into Tartarus (the underworld) after the fall of the Titans and Atlas was trapped there holding up the sky

Atlas holds up the sky. If he was holding up the world, what would he be standing on? Lol
I think if anything Weight of the Underworld refers to Sisyphus, who was damned to roll a huge boulder uphill just to see it fall back down, then do it again. Endlessly. Maybe the two may not be connected in punishment, but the line about not bowing to Erebos in death seems similar to how Sisyphus chained Thanatos/Hades (depending on the adaption), preventing anyone from dying.
