Modern Rotisserie Draft

There is a Modern Rotisserie Draft going on right now between 8 Magic personalities you may know: Marshall Sutcliffe, Chris Pikula, Randy Buehler, Adam Prossak, Aaron Forsythe, Rashad Miller, Sam Black, and Brian David-Marshall. You can find their picks here and things are looking interesting. They will even be streaming the matches towards the end of April for those interested!
In case you don't know, a Rotisserie Draft is a draft where you can pick from any card available within the confines of your format. In this case the 8 players can pick from any card legal in Modern. It follows the snake draft pattern, so the person who gets the first pick will also get pick 16th. However the person who picks 8th will also pick 9th. This evens out the powerlevel of each deck. Marshall Sutcliffe wrote about his pick on the LR blog if you want to hear his rationale why he first picked Batterskull.

I like the idea, but planting a flag also seems like a good idea, as BDM did in another rotisserie draft, where he first picked Splinter Twin & went RW Twin
