Hey everyone,

I'm a limited guy. What's your impressions on how Oath has influenced the draft format? Please share all your insights you have gained so far. Here's my impressions so far:

Green is very strong now. I'm not sure how I see it in terms of absolute ranking, but man, there's a bunch of really good cards in the set. The creatures that have support on them are really good. Really frigging good.

I''m not sure whether the Boros Equipment Deck is worth it, but I'll definitely force it today at some point.

I honestly think Devoid has lost a lot of value. The Devoid synergies have become marginal and the - admittedly strong - effects that can be activated with Colourless Mana seem to be... well, too janky to get there. You not only play kind-of mana inefficient but also hurt your mana base a little. I'm not amazed with it.

I was neither impressed by red nor blue so far.
I'm definitely forgetting things.

Synergy decks are down, power decks are up

Pretty touch and go.

I haven't drafted yet, but my sealed experience has told me that the themes from BFZ are hardly present. The power level of the cards is real, even if they are sometimes hard to run.

Crumbling Vestige is very playable, especially if you plan to run 1-2 cards. It's even useful if you have 1-2 double-mana cards in your pool.

Another load of drafts in, I'd add:

- UW is still the best deck for me - at least on average.
- The BW Lifegain deck is a real thing. If you draft all the good shit for that deck, I think it's probably the best deck in the format. - Green is still not very good. Unless your green consist of Oath-Green, Tajuru Stalwart and Rares exclusively, green is still not up to par with the other colours. Vampire Envoy is absurd with stuff like Defiant Bloodlord, Bloodbond Vampire and Cliffhaven Vampire. If you pick up these cards and shit like Kalastria Healer, even Nirkana Assassin and Kalastria Nightwatch become all stars. Yesterday, I was killed by some BW Allies deck without them ever attacking, I think.
- White has a lot of fucking removal.
- Surge is a lot stronger than I anticipated.
- If I have White or Black in my deck, I'm happy.
- The fact that the Oaths exist is a bad joke. The only one that's really playbale is Chandras. Jaces is a joke, Gideons is not very enjoyable unless you really want your Rally/Cohort going. Nissa is borderline but rather unplayble to me.
- Boros Equipment is definitely not a thing.
