I'm going to be drafting Dark Ascension + Avacyn Restored next month. Advice?

A friend is sorting this out for his bday. The oldest set I've drafted is a RTR box with friends, so I don't know what to look out for in these sets. Sadly I can confirm no chance for Innistrad because the booster box prices are too expensive for my friend, and almost all of my card knowledge from that block is limited to that set.
What archetypes can I draft into? And what are some modern playable cards I should keep an eye out for in my packs?
Weird draft format. AVR is supposed to be pretty bad - I've heard that Selesnya fatties is just clearly the best. DKA is supposed to be more nuanced but is a small set. I have heard that triple DKA draft is possible but you end up with a lot of repeating commons. It's supposed to be enjoyable though.
Its funny because AVR is an awful draft environment, whilst INN is one of the best sets to draft ever.

I have no tips for DKA because its supposed to go with INN and doesn't work well without it.
Remember that the removal in the format is poor. Tempo decks or midrange decks will win.

B/R/x midrange sounds good. DKA still had vampires (albeit not nearly as good as the INN vamps). you could go white for Spirits, green for werewolves, or blue for um... Bone to Ash? yeah try to stay away from blue.

Believe me I was hoping to open some INN boosters, mostly for Delver of Secrets Flip but these 2 boxes were probably significantly cheaper to get. It will probably be 6-8 of us drafting the entirety of the two boxes and trying to make 60-card decks.
This isn't even the weirdest draft I have done, earlier in the year my friends drafted a box of Fate Reforged + Dragons Maze. That deck turned into a weird fun Azorius manifest deck and I pulled Ugin in pack 1

Avacyn and Dark Ascension are not supposed to be drafted together.
