So, I've built the shell of a Show and Tell deck, with counterspells and the necessary control/fetching, now i need the creature base.

What I'm trying to do is make a deck that's different every time you play it, by having only one of each creature. Now I just need to collect those creatures.

I know of the obvious creatures, Emrakul, the Aeons Torn , Griselbrand , and the platinum creatures, but what are some more obsucre/not traditionaly used cards that would make the deck more fun?

Some ideas- Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur Maelstrom Archangel Blightsteel Colossus and Novablast Wurm

Maybe Worldspine Wurm would be fun.

Blazing Archon , Iona, Shield of Emeria , and Ashen Rider seem to be pretty good.

If you're going up against other competitive Legacy decks, the smart move would be to play around their hate tech. This can sometimes be cards like Ashen Rider , so some type of Hexproof creature would be a good out for that strategy. The biggest one I canthink of is Inkwell Leviathan , which is kind of underwhelming to be honest. I guess there's also Empyrial Archangel .

This strategy is sounding worse and worse the more I think about it.

CrazyLittleGuy the idea is to be fun, yeah, the deck sucks, but that's the point haha, competitive legacy is a nightmare to play in, this is designed to show off cards that wouldn't be used otherwise because they're impossible to play!

show and tell generally only runs griselbrand and emrakul, this is bc it wants to win the turn it plays show and tell if not the next one, reanimator is a deck that lends itself to move toolbox creatures to play with bc its not a go off and win combo, its a go off and be in a very very good position combo. granted i love having fun with things just a heads up since the deck isnt cheap most people ik dont build kitchen table versions

So no one's said Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite yet...

You should probably just play Wood Elemental and Jedit Ojanen .

Sphinx of the Steel Wind , Spirit of the Night , and Akroma, Angel of Wrath are all pretty hard to deal with. I think if you're not playing Griselbrand and Emrakul, the Aeons Torn in full sets, you want guys that are either really disruptive or can lay down the beats the turn they come in.

There's also Serra Avatar and Grozoth for coolness factor.
