Nahiri, the Lithomancer in SB of blade decks?

I am including the link for reference:

His Deck

Anyway that's my friend's deck but its not updated. I am not asking for direct help, like cuts and additions etc. In general, is Nahiri good for legacy blade SB or even mainboard. My friend was wondering about this.

Some blade decks already run Academy Ruins so I could see why it could be less necessary, but if in SB what does it come in against?

Thanks in advance.

I feel like it's expensive and inefficient for it's cost. I imagine you'd bring it in against slower, more control oriented decks, but then again she's expensive and more prone to counterspells. So she's just kinda dead in your hand until you're sure she won't be countered, then when she hits the field, she just isn't wonderful and probably won't win you the game.

Oh, she evades Abrupt Decay though.

Kevin Jones ran one in his stoneblade list sideboard. Did pretty well with it to. Pretty sure he took down a SCG while they were still awesome.

Any strategy tips, because he wants to run it?

It's not bad. It's really there as kind of a 'silver bullet' for the Miracles matchup (although it could work in Shardless, and the mirror match as well, provided it's grindy enough.)

It dodges most forms of removal in Legacy. (though do note that some Shardless lists run a singleton Maelstrom Pulse, which does deal with it.)

It makes creatures that you can equip your equipment to, and brings them back from the grave, making popular SB hate such as wear/tear much less effective.
