Inverter of Truth

Devoid, flying

When Inverter of Truth enters the battlefield, exile all cards from your library face down, then shuffle all cards from your graveyard into your library.

6/6

This card in particular caught my eye and while it will be legal in all formats, legacy or vintage seems like a powerful enough format that broken things can be done with it. I don't know if you would want to play some sort of combo or Intuition package or something completely new.

I'm curious to what you guys think about the card as it's definitely interesting.

Also I posted this on legacy but if you guys want, we can talk about the card in general since it could be played in edh, modern and vintage also.

He's a Doomsday with wings!! I think he could be copies 5-8 in a good Doomsday deck, no? You can decide with something like Intuition or Gifts Ungiven what you want in your graveyard, and essentially it will have the same effect.

But he's not really Doomsday. It's certainly strong, don't get me wrong, but he doesn't win the game like Doomsday does.

It's also Leveler 5-8 for Laboratory Maniac decks, for the people who play that.

There is something hilarious that can be done with this card, but I don't know what yet.

It's not quite leveler and let's you chose your deck size. I just don't know what to do with it.

Maybe use it to find other combos. Self mill yourself, Delve away what you don't want, then draw every card you need for the next X turns.

He seems to play nicely with the new Hedron Alignment. Not that that's gonna happen in Legacy/Vintage, but it could be fun for Standard/Casual/Modern.

I think Intuition-Laboratory Maniac seems like the way to go, though.

EDIT: I don't think the Hedron Alignment is going to be a real deck. But I like jank, and this is that.

Endless whisper makes for fun. Play inverter and kill it and it returns under opponents control

Using Self-mill/Dredge and a bit of Delve, you could easily set-up the 'best' cards to be put into your library, ensuring that you are always drawing the most powerful threats/answers.

Adding that to a 6/6 flying body, I don't see the need for it to be in a 'combo' or be 'broken'.
