Eternal Scorge + Foodchain in Elves?

Today in crazy brew deck ideas: Legacy elves with Food Chain and Eternal Scourge.
Here's my idea to this: Elves likes to go off with Glimpse of Nature. Glimpse is a "cast" trigger. Eternal scourge can be cast from exile. Thus enabling you to draw your whole deck and slamming emrakul or what not.
Could that idea work? And what should the list look like?

I think trying to jam in a Food Chain combo into Elves is the wrong idea, as a very potent deck then looses potency and consistency. Having said that, a dedicated Food Chain combo deck just got a new toy.

Yeah, I love the combo and wanna see it go off somewhere, but off the top of my head there's just too much disruption in the meta to keep it from being a primary wincon or anything. Definitely could see it being fun in EDH or something though...

.....there is a dedicated food chain deck.....it does not need this guy....

Thank you for your oppinions. I guess I'll use it as a FNM-Fun deck for one of our legacy rounds. :)

Friend of mine exclusively plays Food Chain, and has had a deck tech done by SCG, and he knows the deck inside and out. Says that the new Exile eldrazi could potentially be the griffons 5-6. He's still testing them, and I think he does like them, but they really shouldn't be written off immediately.
Writing off spells immediately just shows you don't really know what you're talking about.
That being said, I personally would not toss Food Chain or this into elves. You COULD make a Food Chain list that runs glimpse combo though.

Why? It doesn't shore up bad MUs and really is just a more expensive way to make mana, which isn't the bottleneck that elves has to deal with when comboing. The cards are pretty dead on their own and scourge isn't green to find off gsz for consistency's sake. Its a cute idea for an fnm or two, but not as strong as current lists.
