Casual budget ideas?

Alright, so I basically lead a MtG group that we have near where I live, and I'm putting together a 50$ budget modern challenge, and I wanted to get together some ideas for people to set up. This is basically my attempt at getting my group into Modern as none of them know close to what I know about modern, and my own knowledge is lacking. What are some fun, non-'budget version of tiered deck' options are there? So far I've thought of Shaman's and thats all.

(also, if this actually goes into Modern despite talking about casual play, sorry)

Azorius spirit aura decks are pretty good for 50$ range modern (Nobody expects The Finnish Inquisition!). Selesnya token decks can pretty easily be made for that budget too. Same goes for defender decks that uses Axebane Guardian + Freed from the Real combo to make infinite mana.

4x Treasure Hunt, 4x Zombie Infestation, 4x Reliquary Tower, 50/50 islands and swamps.

The same deck can be made a bit differently with 4x Seismic Assault instead of infestations.

Grand Architect + Pili-Pala infinite mana to get Banefire. The rest of the cards can be control (counterspells, removal etc.) and draw and dig spells (Sleight of Hand, Serum Visions etc.)
