How does your playgroup decide who changes the power level of their decks? If one guy has a deck that's stomping everyone else on a regular basis, do the rest of you buuld up to match or do you ignore him til he brings his deck down to the level of the group?

In my playgroup there is no adjustment and everything is up to the players. The discussion has been brought up many times and there are some issues that make this impossible. Because while sometimes it's pretty clear that a deck is far superior to another in other cases it's quite difficult. Same goes for card level. I mean everything is relative. However, luckly for us, the guys with like 20 decks and best cards usually don't play their best and try to pick the deck based on the level they expect to find. A part from them there are surely a few guys with far better decks than beginners and "have fun" stomping them. I was one of those beginners but i've found losing many times usefull as it helped me finding out new strategies, new cards, new decks to manage to beat them. Of course this situation may be different for Others that may want a fair match. I have personally no problem with power mismatch but i don't blame the ones that do.

Upload all the decks to a website (probably here) and aim for the same average cmc area, all the cards that make the most powerful decks are really all those 0-2 cmc spells you see those op decks playing before they get you all to admit defeat.

Before I got into a structured league, we just played what we had and if someone was getting too much stronger we would adjust who we focused and we would try to get some new neat tech to make our decks better
