Will there Ever Be a Dragon Hydra?

Throne of Eldraine shall have a turtle hydra, which is a new creature type combination that has not been used, before.

Naturally, I am wondering what other interesting creature type combinations may be used in the future, and I think that it would be awesome if there was a dragon hydra; both creatures are reptiles, and this game has had multi-headed dragons, in the past, so a dragon hydra seems to be a logical idea, to me

What does everyone else say about this? Will this game ever have a dragon hydra?

They've had Zombie Angel. I have to imagine no creature combination is truly off limits. Demon Angel... sure, why not. Dragon Hydra doesn't even feel like a stretch and I'm surprised it hasn't been done in 25 years.

Just a matter of time with Hydroid Krasis being a Jellyfish Hydra Beast.

Leviathan Hydra would be pretty sweet too

Crocodile Hydra anyone?

I'm too pretty surprised there isn't a dragon hydra yet. I guess we might get one in 2020 with the Lair of Behemoths set.

The upcoming Ikoria has a mechanic allowing players to somehow build their own monsters. I can't imagine a better set to include crazy type combinations.

PhyrexianWombat sounds an awful lot like augment...

Grixis776 Yeah, and augment was awesome! I doubt they'll do something like that in this case though, since MaRo mentioned it was an extra ambitious ability. Plus, augment's pretty silly in black border. It could work as meld, but that could take away some of the player creativity.

TypicalTimmy: Honored Hydra 's Embalm creates a Zombie Snake Hydra, if that does it for ya.

I'd like to see a Demon Horror, or something to that effect.

I'd also be interested in seeing some of the big iconic creature types, like Demons/Dragons/Angels/etc, pick up some class types. Dragon Advisor. pls.

Tyrant-Thanatos No Dragon Advisors at the moment, but Throne of Eldraine does have a Dragon Noble!

September 6, 2019 12:03 p.m.

PhyrexianWombat: It's worth noting though that Noble is a new creature type in Eldraine. Only two cards with it so far, one being a Dragon, the other a Beast.

September 6, 2019 12:08 p.m.

Tyrant-Thanatos I expect a few older cards will be errata'd into Nobles as well, such as Brago, King Eternal . I'm sure Eldraine has at least a few more, as well.

September 6, 2019 12:13 p.m.

PhyrexianWombat: Yeah older stuff often gets errata for new creature types. At the very least every changeling ever is a Noble now. And yeah, I was just speaking for the stuff spoiled so far. I'm sure there will be more of them in the set.

TypicalTimmy Whenever we return to Tarkir, a cycle of enemy colored dragons would be dope.

Since Dungeons & Dragons has dragon turtles, is there any chance that this game may eventually have a dragon turtle?

Turtle Dragon... aka Durdle

TypicalTimmy Fun fact, the Unstable card Sword of Dungeons & Dragons originally made a Beholder token, but it was changed to a dragon during development.
