What's with the whole storm crow thing?

So I've heard stuff about Storm Crow being insanely good and there's tons of jokes out there about it, but I don't understand any of it. I'm semi-new to magic (playing since Nyx), so I figure it's something I just haven't been around long enough to know. Would someone mind explaining to me the significance of Storm Crow ?
And since then, the joke has grown into an unrecognizable catastro-meme.

Also, a 1/2 flyer for 2 was considered to be one of the worst cards that you could play, even in limited, so of course, it because the best card that you can play. Similarly to how Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded is the best planeswalker out there.

i thought i was cuz storm was in its name so it had storm as an ability and stormed 1/2 flyers...well you know

I run the only Storm Crow that I own (or does it own me?) in my reanimator deck. My god hand goes from Entomb to Reanimate on it. People immediately scoop.

Are you people insane?! Don't you know that Storm Crow is watching, hearing every word you say? Why, you've already mentioned his name far too many times. Do yourself a favor and never return to this forum. Storm Crow knows where you live.

Back in Alliances, Storm Crow and Force of Will were both printed. The joke began when people started claiming the former was an amazing card because you could pitch it to the latter.
