what is your best accidental combo

Was wondering how many people build their decks to a specific combo or idea and it turns out there was a different combo you created without knowing until you were in the middle of a game

That has happened a few times for me. I can't remember all of them off of the top of my head but one that was rather funny was an accidental combo in my squirrel deck: Ashnod's Altar + Liege of the Hollows [sacrifice liege and all squirrels already owned for 2 mana each and then use said mana to put that many squirrels into play]. Over doubles the number of squirrels in play (Triples instead of doubles if you have an earthcraft also)

Accidental combo? Krasis Incubation + Sage of Hours + Vorel of the Hull Clade . Infinite turns in the most mana inefficient way possible.

Well... I don't know if this really counts as it was a combination of two cards from two different decks in one game, but... Here goes nothing.

Okay, so me and a few friends are playing a game of Commander. I'm playing a grouphug deck and someone else is playing a goblin/burn deck. Some turns passed, not much exciting happened... The Goblin/burn player plays Possibility Storm and I know I have some benefitial enchantments in my deck, so I play some cheap enchantment (Probably Oblivion Ring), it gets cycled and out comes a Hive Mind. Possibility Storm+Hive Mind was such a weird combo because no one could throw their own spells, but everyone else copied the original instant/sorcery cast in addition to the one thrown by Possibility storm. In theory, it could be possible to kill all other players while surviving yourself by using all the Pacts, but having a deck build around that combo seems weird.

Just remembered one more that happened in an edh game:Eye of the Storm + Talent of the TelepathThe person before me played eye of the storm, I played Talent and wiffed, but on my end step the monored player cast a burn spell and was comboing off for the next 15 min before everyone simultaneously conceded in order to start a new game.

Cloudstone Curio has done wonders for me in my Animar, Soul of Elements deck

i won a local edh tournament by having animar out with a few +1/+1 counters, Cloudstone Curio, and Etherium-Horn Sorcerer on the 'field. i cast Peregrine Drake bouncing the Etherium-Horn Sorcerer, then cast the sorcerer bouncing the drake and hitting the cascade trigger, cast the drake to bounce the sorcerer, and again and again until i played my entire deck of cmc 5 or less (including Urabrask the Hidden to swing ftw). no one in the shop had ever seen that many cascade triggers in one turn. it was insane

another surprising Cloudstone Curio infinite was again with untap effects: Palinchron bouncing Great Whale and visa-versa until Purphoros, God of the Forge killed all of my opponents

one hilarious interaction that i was on the wrong side of happened this past weekend: opponent #1 cast Traumatize on me, opponent #2 cast Bribery on opponent #4 choosing Sepulchral Primordial, chose my Clone from my graveyard targeting Sepulchral Primordial, chose my Phyrexian Metamorph from my graveyard targeting Sepulchral Primordial, and finished off with choosing my Prophet of Kruphix. all in all, because he kept cloning the Sepulchral Primordial; opponent #2 netted 13 creatures from ONE Bribery!

I ran a Standard deck a little over a year ago that was based around spamming tokens for Master Biomancer & Ogre Battledriver to buff. I ran Hornet Nest along with some burn to set it off, but I also ran Domri Rade. In one of my first tournaments with the deck, I found myself on a stalled boardstate with a Biomancer and a 5/5 Battledriver along with Domri. I topdecked the Nest, an epiphany hit me, and I swung for 25 in the air ftw.

Mortuary + Harvester of Souls + Deathrender... This with a sac outlet and any creature that has something when it enters the battlefield, this is crazy.. So here's how it works, Creature dies, Deathrender triggers Harvester of Souls triggers Mortuary triggers. Mortuary puts Gray Merchant of Asphodel on top of your library, Harvester of Souls draws it, Deathrender puts it into play... Sac it again and again and again til you win.

I was playing a sliver control deck against a b/u wizard tribal. He couldn't get past all my buffs so as a last ditch effort he confiscated my sliver queen used a mana ramp till he had more tokens than I had creatures then used peer pressure to take all.

I had a Bant control deck in which I thought hay Horizon Chimera is a good card and hay Drogskol Reaver is a good card. It wasn't until I played both and my opponent passed his turn immediately after drawing that I realized what I had done.

Deck: Creature Control III

Unintentional Combo: Equilibrium + Gilded Drake

The unintentional part was that I originally meant Equilibrium to simply send creatures back to its owners hand as I cast my own creatures. By total accident, I realized that as I cast Gilded Drake and swapped its control for an opponent's creature, I could pay the (1) to return Gilded Drake back to my own hand.

Then it got even better as I realized that I wasn't limited to using this ability only once per turn! I wound up casting Gilded Drake 4x's and stealing my opponent's entire battlefield to use against him!

Needless to say, most of my friends HATE that deck....
