What cards do you like to collect?

Collections. We all have one that consists of every card we currently own, but is there a specific card that you have a certain soft spot for, that just strikes something in you in such a way that you can't help but hold onto every copy you find? I know not everyone has a card like that, but I'd like to see what kinds of one-card collections we have here! If possible, include pictures too.
For myself, Somberwald Sage is the big one for me. I love the art, Steve Argyle is my favorite MtG artist (Minion #303 reporting in, do we have any other Minions here?), and the card itself is good in my opinion. I currently have six nonfoil and one foil copy, and have another forty nonfoil, eight foil, two Simplified Chinese nonfoil, and one German nonfoil coming in the mail in the next week or so. I'm sure to get some pictures of the full thing when I get them all, and I eventually hope to get them all signed by Steve and perhaps have him alter a few if I have the funds when he opens up mail-in alters again.
Master Transmuter...just can't get enough of that card. Too bad she's $8. Makes it tough to jump on every copy I can get my hands on. :(

About 24 copies of Culling Mark were given to a friend for his birthday, just because of a draft we did once where he picked every copy for no reason whatsoever.

I've been trading at my LGS pretty aggressively for any and all foil legendary cards I can get my hands on. While I preferably collect creatures, I've been collecting others as well. Originally, it was a collection born of dismantled commander decks, but now it's something entirely its own. The collection is only a few pages right now, but it's been growing quite a bit recently.

I collect anything and everything from Terese Nielsen (she's an amazing artist, and I actually had the privilege of meeting her at GPDC). Also collect fourth edition White Knight and Tundra Wolves since they were in my first ever deck I made when I started paying magic in high school, and they've always held a place in my heart.

Huntmaster of the Fells Flip. I got a foil signed by Chris Rhan, 3 regular versions and a japanese one. kinda hard to find these days, but i'd like more foreign ones.

It's not original, but Zendikar and BFZ Full Art Basics. I used to collect Abrupt Decays, but I sold of most of those a while ago.

I am starting to collect BFZ Full Art Basics.
But that is based on the speculation that they will go up in price in 5-10 years. (Yes, long term investment for small return, but hey, I am weird)
I know there was a card I looked at recently that as soon as I saw the art I loved it, if I can figure out what it was (it got mixed into my other cards) I will collect that.

Blue Sun's Zenith for me. I don't know why, but I just love this card. I'm sitting at about 18 I think.

I currently have 65 Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded. 6 pack foils, 40 regular, 18 duel deck, and 3 simplified Chinese. I'm slowly keeping an eye out for foil and regular foreign ones. My entire LGS knows to trade for them because I give value for them, and the store even keeps me notified :). I legitimately keep a $20 bill on in my wallet in a top loader, just on the off chance I find one somewhere and need to buy it.

Every dragon in foil and now angels in foil too. I have all dragons apart from Zodiac Dragon because its $180 and theres always something I want more before it lol

There's a couple different players at my LGS who collect different random cards.
One person collects Titan of Eternal Fire for no good reason. Another collects Charging Badger. And then there's an Abzan fanatic who collects Siege Rhino.

I currently own 208 copies of Bone Saw, half foil half regular. I also own as 59 copies of Ancient Crab, of which 17 of them are foil.

@TMBRLZ Titan of Eternal Fire would've been a good card if you didn't have to pay mana. it would easily make its way into some boros human edh decks.

I currently own 736 copies of Treasure Cruise.
After they were banned in literally all formats, I was just like "I want them all".
I'm also currently building my collection of full art Wastes (just 184). I'm at 122 copies right now, though I intend to quadruple that number by the end of the year.

Vampire Nighthawk Is one of my all time favorite magic cards and the art is cool, so I keep any and all I come across which is a surprisingly low number. I own about twenty, looking to start some foils. I only own a few but I'd love to start collecting Gift of Orzhova because it is my favorite art on a magic card...ever. And finally...this is a weird one...foil Village Cannibals. I own about thirty copies. It was the first foil I opened and it is genuinely beautiful, and although the card is terrible I love it.

I used to collect Temple Gardens i didnt have some insane amount but I have almost every type just not the expedition but its because i dont like the art. I am just a big green white player and I love the art on temple gardens and the name.
