What are common uses for spellskite?

I know that it is mainly used against boggles to steal auras and against burn to redirect lightning bolts, etc. What other common uses does it have as a sideboard card?

This is more a strategy question than a rules question, so it will probably get moved.
It can redirect pumps against infect or redirect removal from removal heavy decks.

I use them in Modern to protect things I need to stay on the board.

Screws up all sorts of removal, Lightning Bolt easily, other burn, maybe a Path to Exile, and is the sort of card infect will gg to.

Although powerful, specific answers are usually preferred in sides, spellskite is noted for its versatility. It's good against tons of stuff. At worst, it's a decent card after it's boarded in. At best, your opponent has to play around it entirely.
