Is This A Total Lockdown?

If I have Narset Transcendent's emblem, AEther Storm, Mycosynth Lattice, and Damping Matrix in play, what is there that my opponents can do?

So far I know that they can cycle, forecast, channel, and play and tap lands, as well as activating Simian Spirit Guide and Elvish Spirit Guide but I'm curious if there is anything else they can do, as well as if they can use the above to cheat stuff into play.

Thanks :D

Cycling Death Pulse lets them get AEther Storm off the table and cast their creatures. Same with Decree of Pain, Jund Sojourners, Resounding Thunder, Slice and Dice, and Solar Blast.

GlistenerAgent Okay, what if instead of Phyrexian Revoker I used a Mycosynth Lattice and a Damping Matrix?

Well, that still allows palyer to play lands, pay 4 life and get rid of AEther Storm, then play a Squire and kill you in 20 turns.

I never understood, what is the goal with this total lockdown? It does not really achieve anything.

If you want to stop cycling and forecast too, replacing Damping Matrix with Null Rod prevents lands from producing mana.

Boza no one can do that, since Damping Matrix would prevent you from activating the ability.

As for the why, science isn't about "why?", it's about "why not?"! Also because I like this sort of thing because it feels like a big puzzle and I like puzzles.

Yo just add Suppression Field and Stony Silence to that Mycosynth Lattice and that is pretty much a lock on abilities, because lands can't be tapped for mana.

Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir + Knowledge Pool is all you need for spells. Teferi's Puzzle Box + Leovold, Emissary of Trest means that after one turn your opponents don't have a hand.

The important thing to remember though is that while you may be able to stop them doing anything in game, you might have trouble stopping a player from punching your teeth out for being "that guy". So good luck with that one.

j1h7e7, I just feel that there is a thread about this too often. I am surprised people are intersted in this type of thing. Just looking a week back should give you some ideas:
