(Card Name) in brackets will add the card. (Last-Part-Of-URL) will link the deck. There is a difference in how you format the two. Often times misspelled cards that people link (such as Day of Judgement?!?!?!! vs Day of Judgment) can also cause this issue.

I agree. It's happened to me more than once. Very annoying.

If I recall correctly, the site prioritizes linking cards before decks, as in, if two things are named Day of Judgment, then the card is linked before the deck.

So..... You might be spelling a card name wrong :P

I used Prison of Saint Traft instead of Geist of Saint Traft, so quit yelling at me bro.

Or you can just specify what you want to link.

[ [card:Card Name] ] becomes a card link, [ [deck:deck-slug] ] becomes a deck link, [ [deck-large:deck-slug] ] becomes a deck link with mana pie, [ [symbol:symbol] ] becomes a mana or planeswalker loyalty symbol.

I know, this is extra work, but not much, really. I've done it since joining this site and not once linked something I didn't want to. Plus, it's easier to do that renaming all decks that could conflict with cards.

People usually don't do card names for their deck pages, but this still shouldn't be a problem if they do. Card names take priority so if you double bracket a proper card name, it should behave as you expect.

The problem is spelling the card names wrong and other such things. But it is still very annoying. As I said I have had it happen to me, and I've seen it happen to many others.

You also have to keep in mind that there are people who do it intentionally to get cheap views on their deck. These people are vastly in the minority, but they do exist.
