Does anyone have any idea when the Errata will take place of historic lands and Mana Sources to produce <> mana, in place of generic.

Old lands and mana sources never produced generic, they have always produced colorless. The problem is that the numeric mana symbol was doing double duty up until this point as generic in costs and colorless in production abilities. Add to this that until OGW there has been nowhere to spend colorless except in generic costs and everyone gets the two confused.
As to when the errata to the new symbol takes place, sometime before the release of Oath to be sure. I have never paid attention to errata timing before but my best guess would be later this week when the release notes come out.
