MTG References Outside of MTG

One that I know is Spirit of the Night in The Binding of Isaac (link right there<<) I know of one in South Park, too, but vaguely. If you have any, feel free to leave them in the comments!

They did a jace-esq cameo in the Disney wizards apprentice movie with a standing mtg board in the background of one of the scene

There was an episode of Chuck where the two nerdy-to-the-point-of-being-weird-and-creepy-pseudo-serial-killers invited NSA agent Colonel John Casey to play MtG with them.

During an episode of Workaholics, Blake was playing MTG with some people if I recall correctly.

They made a joke on a family guy episode (can't remember which one) and it poked fun at the 72 virgins thing for suicide bombers and when the guy goes to the 72 virgins it's a bunch of nerdy guys playing MTGO. It's was pretty funny

There's a pro freestyle ski webisode series called The Traveling Circus; and during the end credits of a recent episode one of the riders starts talking that he had a goblin deck and an elf deck, but the unbeatable creature type were the slivers. They never said the words magic the gathering, but once he said slivers you knew what he was talking about. Pretty funny and random

In the Binding of Isaac: Rebirth (amazing game), Goody Askani28 They also have the Chaos Card which is a version of Chaos Orb: "Icon, name and functionality are a reference to the Magic: The Gathering card Chaos Orb, which is famous for its unusual effect that requires dexterity."
Black lotus is also a thing that gives you 1 of each type of health (dark, red, soul).

Well, South Park just did an entire episode on Magic called "Cock Magic," and it was hilarious. I strongly recommend going on their website to watch it while it's still free.
