more card nicknames

lets do it again!
what cards have you given nicknames to in your playgroup?
try to avoid universal ones, as i think we're looking for funnier ones here.
for me recent ones have been:
Moonveil Dragon- moonlight jeff
Dragonlord Atarka- pukey
Atarka, World Render- pukey jr.

steve is taken by Sakura-Tribe Elder, as in S-T E (ve) sorry about that. Bob is bob because the art was styled after a dude named bob in the OG ravnica version

Dark Confidant is so nicknamed after Bob Maher, its creator. Maher won the right to design and be immortalized in his 2004 Magic Invitational submission. The card's flavor text alludes to Maher's epithet "the Great One"

Try LoadingReadyRun's nickname podcasts. They give a nickname to every single card in each set since Khans I believe. Not all the cards have winner names, but the good ones are pretty damn good.

I did figure out later why Dark Confidant was called Bob...I guess it wasn't random haha...ok...umm...

Randomly naming cards isn't going to make the names stick. Steve works because (S)akura (T)ribe (E)lder VE is very close. Bob is Bob Maher. Tarmogoyf is already called goyf for short.

Eugene (Ugin, the Spirit Dragon), Cleetus (Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet), and Gary (Gray Merchant of Asphodel) are like real world names of fictional peeps.
I do like Ob Noxilous for Ob Nixilis of the Black Oath and Constipated Sphinx for Consecrated Sphinx too though...

I never understood why Dark Confidant was called "Bob". It just didn't make sense to me. And I was all like "Fine, I can name other two drops what I want to name them." Thus Steve was born. Meet Steve: Snapcaster Mage. Spread the word! Make Steve be known! Let his name be a universal symbol of random names!
