Does anybody know how to search for X-cost cards on Gatherer?

I know "" translates to when considering converted mana costs. So a spell like Banefire is actually a CMC = 1 card, even if you spend 12 mana on it.
I know I can just type in "X" in the text field, but the issue here is it pulls up literally E-V-E-R-Y card that has the letter "x" in it, such as every card with the word "exile" or "next" in it.
Short of asking for the "word" "X", but then specifically removing all X-containing words, such as "exile" or "next" (Which just takes way too much time to do), does anybody know of a way to look for these cards?
Or, conversely, is there a different website we can use - or an app for that matter?
I'm asking, because I want to build a new EDH deck centered around, of all Commanders, Rosheen Meanderer. I thought it'd be an interesting idea, with cards like Gelatinous Genesis, Hydra Broodmaster, Flameblast Dragon, and Steel Hellkite as my main cannons (Among others, of course) and rely on things like the aforementioned spells to get me there.
Under the advanced search, there's a tab near the bottom for Mana cost (not the CMC tab). Choose the curly equals sign and search for X. That should get you what you need.

Yes, please for the sake of your own sanity, use anything other than the Gatherer. Magiccards.info is pretty popular iirc, and Scryfall.com is a somewhat recent site that's really good imo. It's what I use.

I Use Scryfall.com with great success. Gatherer is absolutely horrid.

I've also been using the MTG Familiar app. That thing works beautifully and can be done offline.
But it doesn't allow X searches, I don't think. But I'll check out those other sites, too.
