Hey people! Is there anyway to make a planeswalker in a graveyard or hand and artifact/creature? I am trying to find any possible way to stick a cage counter on a planeswalker to use with Mairsil, the Pretender. I am hoping there is any possible way to do it even if the planeswalker isn't very good.

It's impossible, unfortunately. The very closest thing I can think of is Ashes of the Fallen/Conspiracy which only changes subtypes. Nothing changes types or supertypes off the battlefield.

Delta-117's suggestion only works with cards on the battlefield tho. Otherwise it would say permanent card in your _

Just throwing out ideas to generate possibly something that could be of help close to this still.
But yeah nothing is going to get any closer to what you already suggested RazortoothMtg.

You can make them artifacts on the 'field with Mycosynth Lattice. Idk about the graveyard tho :/
