Cards that just work together.

I don't know about you, but to me, one of the best feelings in Magic, is when you look at one card, then you look at another card, and your eyes light up when you realize that they were together perfectly, totally in sync, that you just want to squeal like an excited little school girl who got an A on her science project.
Of course there is: play Dark Depths , play Vampire Hexmage , sac, get 20/20 flying, indestructible black Avatar creature named Marit Lage, also known as Mister Pwn Face and Senor I-Make-Opponents-Concede. Jr.
another fun combo is: Fist of Suns and Mycosynth Lattice .
Who needs 15 mana to spend on emrakul,-aeons-torn when you can just tap 5 whatever land?
anybody else have fun cards to play together?
i don't even wanna count how many cards milled hahahah
pretty sure its the entire deck though

@Zazi & Legendinc: Well, at least 112 cards milled... that's 121. Even more impressive than Keening Stone .
Maybe we should invent a new casual rule... You owe your opponent cards if they mill your deck for twice the number of cards in it in one blow!

@Zazi Rite of Replication and Halimar Excavator WITHOUT the doubling season 6x6x6 = 216 cards. Rite of Replication + Frost Titan is my favorite. "Sorry, all your creatures are tapped. I play Silence . My turn again? I swing for 36 at your face."

Oh God, imagine dropping Genesis Wave at the end of your opponent's turn because of Leyline of Anticipation
December 14, 2010 3:57 p.m.
Prized Unicorn and Gaze of the Gorgon works just as well!
man I've got a list of these as long as my arm. My favorite for a long time though has been 4x Seeker of Skybreak and 4x Priest of Titania in a deck, with a few Instill Energy to help the party. And since m11 brought Elvish Archdruid to the scene, that party just a got a lot bigger. with that much man, you can do really ridiculous things like cast emrakul or Gelatinous Genesis for 7 7/7s on the 5th turn, then Overwhelming Stampede the next turn. and other silly things. ah, what fun.

Godsire+Splinter Twin+Doubling Season Godsire on turn 3 with his herald, Splinter Twin on turn 4 and doubling season on turn 5, tap godsire for splinter twin, put two godsire copies in play, tap them, four 8/8 tokens. Swing with 40 damage next turn, if that doesn't finish them off, tap godsire again and produce more tokens!

@Micah_408 a seriously superior play is:
T1: Razorverge Thicket , drop herald T2: Mountain. Whatever 1cmc red creature and whatever 1cmc white creature. T3: Land. Sac them, play Godsire T4: Land. Splinter Twin , tap Godsire for copy token, swing with the copy, then tap it for 8/8 token. T5: Land: Doubling Season . Tap Godsire for 2 copies, swing with both and the 8/8 token. Tap the Godsire tokens for four 8/8s.
December 27, 2010 8:21 p.m.
ok nevermind
i thought you were saying to tap the tokens you create from Godsire , not a copy of Godsire b/c of Splinter Twin

Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind + Curiosity
Isochron Scepter + card:Orim's Chant
Thopter Foundry + Sword of the Meek
January 18, 2011 10:22 p.m.
Ah, I forgot one.
My favourite combo in the game: Rohgahh of Kher Keep , Kobolds of Kher Keep , and Mirrorweave .
So you have the Rohgahh and some kobolds in play, as well as mirrorweave in your hand. You do not pay the upkeep cost and your creatures come under the control of your opponent. On his turn, given he isn't playing red, he shouldn't be able to pay the RRR cost and will be forced to give the Rohgahh back to you (you can run Mana Short just in case). Now play mirrorweave on Kobolds of Kher Keep, and gain control of all creatures on the field.
I spent $150 on a kobolds deck just so I could see my friend's face when I did this to him.

Fist of Suns and Mycosynth Lattice and Tolarian Acadamy

Tainted Strike and Sarkhan the Mad as seen in my B/R deck, deck:mad-with-power.
I DID squeal like an excited little school girl when I found that, because I was just messing around with the deck and didn't think much of his final ability. Twelve poison counters on the fifth turn can be pretty amusing.
