I always check the card area at my local walmart and target because you never know what you can find because they do not know what they have.
One time I found a time spiral tournament pack for $10 because they thought it was a starter deck.
The best thing I have ever found tho was about 2 months ago i found Commander 2011 Deck - Mirror Mastery now sells for $124 (scg) 2 random core set packs, another g/w RTR starter deck and 100 sleeves all for the grand total of $25. (they were repacakaged in a odd little plastic case)
So have any of you ever found any awesome deals like this? What were your greatest finds?

OP- the commander deck was in one of those weird $25 dollar clear packaged cases with the promo in front?

Went to Walmart and on three separate occasions found planeschase and archenemy intro decks in those plastic cases for 20$ each. Got lots of goodies for half the price

There's a german app where you can sell used stuff. I found a playset of every titan Sun Titan etc. for 7 each.

Have found the packs at Walmart that is usually green cardboard, with a foil promo card in front of 3 packs for $5 ( normally go for $15).
When Khans came out Walgreen's was selling the intro decks for $5, can't even remember how many of those I bought and had them rain check for me. I just kept getting the Jeskai ones, because Monastery Swiftspear.
Same Walgreen's was selling Khans packs buy two get one at the same price as my LGS and Walmart, so why not.
A friend wanted to do a Wizards Tower once, so he sent someone to the LGS for a fat pack, friend gets a call tells him they have such and such fat pack all the same price ($40) until he started saying stuff like some really old fat pack, can't remember correctly what set, but it was really expensive for $40. We all were freakin out, screaming buy it buy it.

Couple months ago I found one of those 3 boosters w/ a promo packs they sell at Target. It had 1 Guildpact booster and 2 Odyssey packs. I snatched it up right away.
I didn't pull anything spectacular, but it did end up paying for itself. I got two OG filter lands in the Odyssey boosters and a bunch of sweet commons and uncommons in the Guildpact booster. I sold everything but the filter lands for something like $12 store credit lol.

A long time ago when I lived up in the Seattle area, I went into the PX (basically the military walmart) and found a handful of packs of 'Unhinged.' Too bad I was new and stupidly opened them, but it was still fun to see the joke set like that.
