2014 and 2015 Sample Decks

My partner and I were mucking around with the 2014 Sample decks tonight and we found that Red was so much stronger than Blue (those are the only two I have).
I have all the 2015 Sample decks, and used to play them with friends, and we thought that the Blue one was the weakest of them all.
We'd all been playing Magic for a couple of years and some of us had played a lot of Control.
Does anyone have any experience with these decks? If so, would you say that Blue was one of the weaker ones?

With these sample decks it's fairly easy to see why blue loses to red. Blue goes for a long "control" game with bad counterspells and high drops. By the time blue is actually a threat, red has already won with cheap creatures, removal and fast cards.
