Sleeves

What is a good brand of sleeves? I've heard of KMC, Dragon Shield, Ultra-Pro, etc. I just need a good brand that'll last pretty good and stuff. Thanks!
Dragon shields got a customer for life out of me afyer my first box of em. I bought them almost 10 years ago and they still shuffle, cut and glide like the day I first used them.
If double sleeving (for like EDH or something that cards won't be changed much) i use perfect fits and then dragon shields.

Dragon sheilds are the most durable, but get dirty looking easier than the others.

These threads always reach the same conclusion: the best quality sleeves are Dragonshield (for the people who love glossy backs) and KMC Hyper Matte (for the people who love matte backs).
Both are phenomenal with doubling sleeving (KMC Perfect Fit is the only good choice for inner sleeves), though Hyper Matte has a slight edge and is easier to apply.

Dragon Shields are kind of the default for EDH players because they're very durable, shuffle well, and come in boxes of 100+.
KMC is better for 60-card use, in my opinion. They're shuffle better and they don't pick up as much grime.
UltraPro is the budget option. They're not bad, but they're thinner and more prone to splitting. Decent draft sleeves, but I don't recommend them for heavy duty use.

Dragon Shields all the way. I'm still using Green Dragons from four years ago now..? I lost count.
Legions have some very lulzy pictures, which are fun, but they just don't hold up as well.

The new Turquoise and Copper Dragon Shields are a major step on quality by the company as well. I have EDH decks that I loved before in old sleeves and man do the newer ones blow them out of the water. Much nicer cut, greater consistency, and far less bent overall. Highly recommend you pick up those two colors as I don't think the other ones have been updated. I'm not 100% sure though.

I have a set of each, and prefer the KMC by far, though they are a bit more expensive. I picked my set up at a recent GP though and got a great deal on them due to prices being jacked down due to competition. I got them cheaper than my Dragonshields actually.
I got a set of purple ones about 2 months ago and they were the same as other old sets I've seen. When were those new ones released?

A while ago, I think turquoise came out in August? Maybe it was earlier, I don't remember.

The older colours havn't been updated yet then. Or they have in the 2 months since I got mah purple ones.

I don't think they've been updated, I have a few friends with dragon shields and they're definitely the old style.

They changed production for those two colors. I got mine maybe 2 months ago. I know turquoise has been out for half a year or so. Check out this review I found real quick. I think it's fairly accurate but he fails to mention that the new sleeves are a lot more consistent in how they're cut.

The turquoise dragonshields feel great, but I've only been using them for about a month and they get fairly dirty...which bothers me personally greatly. If you go with dragonshields i recommend black so it's less grimy looking.

They almost made me have an orgasm in the middle of a GP (KMC's that is). Shuffle so well.

I once used Dragon Shields for all of my EDH decks. They are very durable and come in packs of 100 (with extras) but the backs get scratched very easily it seems. I've probably shuffled each deck several hundred times and the backs almost look damaged as a result. I won't be buying any more Dragon Shields because of it.
KMC Matte (black) is my sleeve of choice for everything now. I prefer the matte look and they don't get the scratched appearance of Dragon Shields. I double sleeve just about every deck with KMC Perfect Fits and KMC Mattes.

KMC and Dragon Shield are both really good.
