Okay as you all know I am launching a Kickstarter campaign for poker chips to be used as counters in MTG. The old campaign had a few bugs so I cancelled it and relaunched a new one.

Here is the new link to the new Kickstarter campaign Thank you all for your feedback and support I really do appreciate it!

Serious question:

I use pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters for my counters. I can't see how having a poker chip that says 25 +1/+1 counters could possibly be better than a quarter when that poker chip costs $1.25 (and is twice as large). Why would I want to back this?

No offense, it just doesn't economical to me. Maybe if you had the flip side be negative colored -1/-1 counters so you could easily see which creatures are being pumped or drained, but even thats a stretch as Wizards doesn't print sets with both of those counters near each other to avoid confusion for newer players.

I think they look better this time. I like that they are 5 +1+1 instead of +5+5 now quite a bit. If possible having the - of the same number on the other side would be a huge deal.

Also does not untap on one side, and something else on the other. Detained, or In Exile maybe.

$1.25 is more then reasonable for a chip. It is actually a little lower then I would think. This is not about saving money sonnet666 as you could just use pen and paper also.

You are taking huge steps forward to make these better. They are almost to the point where I would buy them at me LGS if I saw them there. I don't buy things unless I really want them.

I'm sorry but i have to agree that the asking price just isn't worth it when at the very least, you can use coins like sonnet666 mentioned. i still don't understand whats so hard about dice though, in the video he talks as if its SOOOO HARD to use dice or something lol. i would be interested in these if they were around 5 cents each, but over a buck for one chip?! no thanks.

Chips are expensive to make. Saying 5 cents is a good price point is irrational. You may not be interested in this, but that is ok, all products are not for everyone.

If you wanted to get this backed, T/O isn't the place to advertise. The people on T/O are budget folks. We don't have the money to be spending a luxury item for visuals, we need something cheap. Bingo chips, coins and dice work for us because they are cheap and multi-functional. If you want to get this advertised, go find a place that has competitive magic players, players with money to spend.
