Hey guys,

We have just launched a new free MTG app for Android. There was nothing in the app store that we liked so we made our own. We might be biased but we think it's the best looking app in the store. It's also the only one that supports 8 players on a single screen.

It has Poison and Commander tracking, Dice and Coin flip, Customization for backgrounds and heaps more!

We'd love for you to check it out and let us know what you think. If you want any features or to suggest improvements then we would love to hear them.

Download it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rule02.touchpool

When I did the Quick 2 player game, the life addition/subtraction buttons did not show up for the blue player. With regards to ads, I understand you have to make money somehow but every time you change screens, there they are. On my phone, the bottom banner ad prevents me from pressing a button at the bottom. I have no idea what function this is as it's hidden by the ad.

Here's my honest feedback.

Remove the ads.

I don't care how much 'better' your ap is than others that don't have ads. That isht is annoying and will make people not use it.

As mentioned above, the ads are an inconvenience. If I want to go to the home screen, I don't want an ad, then confirm I want to go the home screen, and then another ad.

I think it's a fine app, but you have to present users with something new or unique. As you probably know, MTG Familiar is another Android-based Magic application that has nearly everything a Magic player could want. Card database, Gatherer rulings, entire rule book, trading section, various dice, mana pool, and life counter with poison counters and life change history.

You're up against a behemoth of a Magic application, so it's going to be tough to get users to convert to an app that only offers a fraction of the features of one they're already using.

Not to be negative, but it's really similar to everything else out there. Make an app where you can actually play a game of MTG and I will buy it for sure :)
