Jace, Vryn's Prodigy  Flip has been on the rise this week. He is seeing play in standard, modern, and legacy in a variety of decks. Do you all think he is going to keep rising?

I think that if he proves himself useful in Dig Through Time shells in legacy his price will rise a little. But I don't know much about the standard/modern meta game at the moment.

I would think the price will go down once biz is released

After BFZ releases, the answer is down. If he proves himself in Modern, he could become the new Snapcaster in terms of price. If you want to acquire him, 1 month after BFZ release would be the perfect time.

He's brand new and low cost; which means that he has a lot of fish hook appeal in eternal formats. He will need to see a lot more results to become a staple in those formats, and until he does, his price will climb down from where it's at.

I think he's going to sit at his current price until something better comes along, or he rotates out of standard. He'll dip and rise, but generally stay the same. Control decks love him, Jeskai loves him, Mill loves him, The Eldrazi don't mind him too much, and Delve decks love him too.

So I think we'll all be riding on the Jace rollercoaster for a bit, until he finds his place in the world.

Jace is a really interesting card that could go anywhere. Somewhat tested in legacy (but not as a 4 of), heavily tested in standard, but barely used in modern. As we all know, if his popularity increases in the non rotating formats his price will rocket up. If not, it won't.

Honestly I see his price falling in the short term but not hugely. He's not a $40 card at this moment in time, but in the future he may be. He's definitely one to keep an eye on.

I have been trying him in U/R Twin Combo...And he works phenomenal. It's a way to Have the cards you need in hand so turn four you can combo out. I don't think he is a four of, but he is definitely worth to run at least 2

Also in terms of his foil price, there was a huge buyout sending it to 100$

I don't see him staying at this price. Anyone remember when Chandra, Pyromaster was 40 bucks? I've seen people call this Jace "Blue Dark Confidant + Snapcaster Mage." No. I just don't agree. His flip side nets you the one recast on your turn only, then you have to tick him up again (twice if you want him to survive) using a mediocre +1. Sure, he's cheap, and he nets some card advantage, but when was the last time Merfolk Looter saw play? Obviously Jace is better than that, but personally I dislike him and really doubt he'll be so pricy in a year.

That said, Standard is Standard so he could do weird things before rotation. I see little long-term use.
