I just bought a playset of Overgrown Tomb for $30. Was this worth it or not?

Overgrown Tomb gives access to the best removal and best creatures in modern! So yea, even at a more expensive price u did well in the long run.

$30 is pretty bargain for a playset of that shock. Well done, these will probably settle around $17-$20 as folks have intimated here.

this is a great example of benefit for buyer and seller. most stores have them buylisted for 4-6. so the seller made out in the short term, you get to play them and let keep them as they rise to 15-20

Yeah that's about right. I don't see them going much below $10, and over time they will probably go back up to $20+. Overgrown Tomb and Steam Vents are also the most popularly played in Modern, so they will hold value even better.
