Speculation about Keranos

Obviously, Keranos, God of Storms is a great card. Where do you guys think his ceiling is? Think now is a good time to pick some copies up in hopes that his price will jump up? I think he could go up significantly.

I bought a few when he was $5. I sold the ones im not using. I think he will go pretty low post rotation, at least low enough to warrant an investment, Until then, maybe not a great idea.

That train is long gone. I don't see him drop dramatically after rotation. His recent spike was not because of his recent success in Standard - there was none. Modern players have finally realized that he is kinda broken and can't be handled easily.

Yeah he's peaking/peaked. I don't see him going any higher considering he's not a cornerstone in any forseeable decks. He's really good just not required.

I played a RUG Tarmo twin deck that was playing this guy.
He has nowhere to go but up in price.

I agree he is going to see more play in Modern, as I've included him in my RUG twin deck as well but playing only 1 copy will not cause him to rise in price. If he sees a significant amount of play post RTR rotation I could see him hitting $20 but I still wouldn't buy in on him now. If you don't have Keranos and you want to play him in standard or modern i would purchase 1-2 but don't expect to turn around and sell it for a large gain.

Keranos seems too strong to not be in a viable standard deck. I wouldn't invest in him at his current price, but I would not be surprised at all if he sees another spike once the post Khans decks start to form.

Nabbed a foil one mispriced for $5 a couple of months ago. It's now a couple of Mistys. I kind of think he'll keep climbing, but I'm fine cashing out now.

Yeah I had picked up a few after the initial release price had dropped. I could see him going up a bit depending on what the standard environment ends up looking like. If things slow down and become mid-rangey, I could see him seeing more play and effecting the price accordingly

I see him becoming good in USA control, which will have anger of the gods as a replacement for verdict. Considering Rabble red being so prominent as of now, Keranos and anger in that deck I think will become a thing.

I think this is as high as he goes until Theros rotation. I wouldn't buy in now expecting to make money. Should have bought in when he was $9.
