Sell Inkmoth Nexus?

I got a playset of Inkmoth Nexus for an Infect deck I never built. I don't need the money but if WotC is going to reprint it in MM3, then I would want to sell it now before the price tanks. And if it isn't reprinted in MM3, will the price spike or will it be around $25 for a while? What do you think?

With the liklihood of seeing a few shocks or checks in MM3 since Instead and RTR are legal, I doubt there will be an Inkmoth Nexus reprint in MM3.

Rare land cycles are not usually included in modern masters, as they will use those to sell standard sets. They will put cards that they think are too strong for standard. Which would include infect, and other items which caused "problems" with standard. The draft themes they use are usually where rares and mythical are chosen from. The rest are usually cards needing a reprint. I don't want either of those cycles in the rare slot. Having a land cycle in the uncommon or common slot would be better for mana fixing as they would show up more.

I didn't check this, but I had a vague memory that the reason Inkmoth Nexus is currently ~$25 is because it hit a pretty big price spike when it wasn't spoiled as a reprint for MM2. I'd imagine something similar happens if it isn't reprinted for MM3 (though maybe it's close to it's ceiling and doesn't rise much more?)

I think infect is a mechanic that wotc kinda messed up on. Like phyrexian mana. No infect card has been reprinted yet AFAIK, and I really doubt they ever will. And no, im not just hating on infect lol

I think Inkmoth Nexus feels like one of those quirky, experimental type of cards that will never see a legitimate reprint, outside of maybe a 'From the Vaults' print; and even that is doubtful anytime soon..

I'm happy I got my playset a couple years ago when they were half the current price..
