Sealed Coldsnap Snow land pack value?

I have an old pack of snow lands from coldsnap. It has 40 cards it it, which im pretty sure are a variety of basic land types (not positive). Im trying to come up with a value on it. I found 1 person on ebay selling at 60$, but that seemed like a lot for what it is. Does anyone have any information on the subject? Is anyone interested in this land pack?

Alternately, I see a lot of EDH decks that run snow lands for their basics. Is there a strategic reason for this, or is it strictly to be fancy? Im trying to decide if I should use them, or try to get rid of the pack sealed.

Thanks for looking!

Cant help with the pricing, but I know EDH players do that so their Extraplanar Lens type effects are one-sided. Also, Scrying Sheets is sweet card filtering.

In EDH, It's mainly to avoid hugging opponents with Extraplanar Lens. However I have no idea on a price point.

Aren't the snow lands usually going for a buck? If that's the case, $60 makes sense. $40 for the value if the lands themselves, and another $20 because it's still a sealed (and now a collector's) product.
