My First Ever Buy From Ebay

I was browsing through ebay today looking at various different mtg merchandise and cards. Then I came across this auction with about five minutes remaining: It was eight oversized commander cards and two from prereleases it was just under a dollar so I bid $1.04 (Shipping is three dollars) and in the end I won! The cards were: Glissa, the Traitor , Comet Storm , Karador, Ghost Chieftain , Ghave, Guru of Spores , Thraximundar , Teneb, the Harvester , Nekusar, the Mindrazer , Sydri, Galvanic Genius , Sharuum the Hegemon , and Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge .So in the end I have a few questions for you guys: Was it a good idea to buy this? Would you have bought it if you stumbled upon it? And what are some the best ebay deals you have come across? Anyway thank you for reading!
I tend to stay away from oversized cards since they technically aren't supposed to be used as the commander. Sweet deal though.

My most recent steal was 2x Chain Lightning for $17, basically got one for free.

I would have to say my best was 3 Sensei's Divining Top s for $35 back when they were about $17 each.

sounds like a wicked deal to me, if you play commander.
But Honestly I don't enjoy buying on ebay. I'll do it on occasion, but to approach and actually expect to get deals usually involves a larger investment of time than the savings are worth to me.

I think hands down my best deal was 2 karn liberated for $8. but it was back when he just rotated out, so I saved a couple bucks, Then tron took off about 3 months later.

Oversized EDH stuff isn't my cup of cognac, but good for you! Reading these other steals are pretty neat, too.
I picked up a NM Italian Karakas for $85 and a SP Revised Savannah for $64. Good deals!

Not the biggest or best steal, but I got a russian Akroan Horse for 8 cents :)

i nabbed a Sliver Queen (autographed by Ron too none the less) for $15 because the guy listed it as Silver Queen. Typo FTW!

I personally would've stayed away from this one but to each their own :) Best deal I've got on ebay was when I got a nm unlimited Forcefield for $45... was pretty happy about that one! Ive got some other deals like a Gaea's Cradle for right under $100, some original duals for under $50 and Vampiric Tutor promo for $60 but never anything like that Forcefield . Ebay is awesome for mtg deals!!
