I'm Hoping I'm in the right place, but today I got a chronicals concordant crossroads in the mail. When I look at the card I noti that the top and bottom borders were off. The bottom border is approximately a mm and the top is close to 5mm. I guess my question is did I get a great deal on something of more value?

Not going to add much to value, if any at all. Miscuts like that usually do not become valuable until you can see another card.

It may be worth a little more to someone, but if there is a border around all the edges, I would say it is just worth regular. Some people say less.

But yes, a picture would let some of the more experienced people give you a more accurate estimate.

Maybe worth a dollar extra, if that. Miscut cards are only considered valuable if part of the interior of the card is missing or (for real value) if part of another card is visible.

On a side note, I love that card. I keep adding it, but then taking it out of my Omnath deck.

It's worth noting that older, miscut cards are often worth considerably more than if they were printed today. That's because tournaments used to not allow sleeves. So, if your card was miscut, you couldn't play it in a tournament because you could tell what the card was by looking at the back.

Back then, miscut cards were oftentimes thrown out since they were worthless. The farther back you go, the more valuable miscuts are.

That is interesting. I know that the farther back you go, the more likely things are to be a little off center.

Card seems to be in really good shape which is nice. I would say if you did try to trade it off, and someone seemed interested, you could get a little bit, but not all that much extra.

Overall, it does not seem too unusual though. I think the biggest contributor to it's value is it's condition.

its not that bad to be honest. where you get the most value is when you have two cards cut on one card. Since it is a concordant crossroads which is a somewhat desirable card it might add a couple dollars depending on your buyer. The fact it is an antiquities reprint and not the original legend has a direct impact on the overall value, as well as it's slight miscut value. Obviously you traded/bought it to use it, so do that and enjoy it. The extra few dollars you make will be eaten up in shipping anyways

Hahaha you're right I did buy it to use. It isn't bad but it's noticeable. I was only curious if my purchase was better (value wise) than I intended
