So tomorrow morning im probably going to buy like 150$ worth of zendikar fetches. But if we are likely going to see them later in this block, that's a bad investment. CardKingdom is having a sale right now, that why im doing buying them. but Im going to be pissed if I can get all these cards for like 60$ in a few months. Whats the word?

Im probably going to grab 2x verdant catacomb, 2x marsh flats, and a misty rainforest.

In the short term if they're reprinted they might go down. But long term value, we've seen how high these cards were before. I would say get them, but I'm the kind of person who prefers the oldest printing of a card I can get so I'm biased.

I would wait. U could grab some Onslaught fetches for much cheaper and they would work as stand ins for Marsh Flats and Misty Rainforest . Besides if fetches are on sale it's a good sign of a reprint being on the way...

While I think that it's likely that they may be reprinted in the last set of Khans or soon after, bear in mind that in terms of long-lasting value, it's really difficult to beat fetches. If you find a deal for them that you like and is reasonable, there's no reason not to get them now.

well based on what has been said by wizards about land cycles not being done in an uneven way (they will try not to print 5 in one block, and the other 5 in another), and the fact that it was said that zendikar fetches would not be reprinted until at least 2015, then I would say that there is a very good chance that they will be reprinted sometime in this block as it would fulfill both of those statements. I assume it will be done in the third set as it is a big set also.

Wizards promised full cycles of land for every 2 colour combination but didn't promise cycles of the SAME TYPE of land. We currently have painlands available to fill in the spots not covered by fetches.

I don't think it's a had idea. In the long run, the originals will be more pricy than the reprints. They'll crash for a while if there is a reprint but after that period has gone they'll rise quickly again and end up being more expensive.

It's not a terrible idea. We have no confirmation that the enemy fetches are getting a reprint. I heard somewhere that Wizards said KTK will have a full cycle of ten rare dual lands, but I can't confirm it. I, personally, am waiting to see what comes in the rest of the block, but that's mainly because I can't yet afford the fetches. I think APPLE01DOJ had the most reasonable suggestion.

I think the most important question is simply this: Do you need them now?

If you're buying them to put into a deck, then get them now - that's six months of play time you're getting before any chance of them being reprinted.

If you're buying purely for speculation, I'd wait. Yes, they'll go up long term, but they'll go down in the medium term (ie when they're eventually reprinted in the next few years).
