Is now a good time to buy snappy?

I've been looking to pick up 4 Snapcaster Mage at the TCGPlayer low price (I don't care about condition). That being said, the current low price is 51 bucks.

I don't really follow 'modern season', so I was wondering is it worth waiting a month or so to pick them up, or should I get them now.

I know it's an overall good investment, as Snapcaster will probably not be printed in standard anytime soon, and the next MM is over a year away.

So yeah... That's about it :) Thanks!

Yeah, I think it's a good investment. Snappy won't go down much, if at all (And might go back up later), and it doesn't stand much of a chance of getting banned in the future.

On a side note, I'm trying to sell my playset of Snapcasters... Perhaps maybe we could work out a deal?

Probably not :( I've got a ton of store credit with my LGS so I was going to pick them up that way...

That is the lowest you will get snappy for the next 6-8 months. With modern season picking up, his price will pick up too.

I expect what happened to Dark Confidant to happen to snapcaster: it will get reprinted in MM2017 with new art, and slowly flood out in market value. That being said, MM2017 is two years away, and snapcaster has plenty of room to grow in that time. Buy while they are cheap.
