I did it. I picked up a full set.
I have a true love for mill, and the rage it inflicts in my opponents. I don't currently play in modern but if I ever do, I could see myself playing some kind of mean mill game. I only hope I made the right call in picking these up. I have been watching them for a while, and they are only going up up up as far as I can tell.
What do you guys and gals think? Is it a safe buy, or is there word on the wizard streets of a reprint?

We are probably overdue for a reprint, most likely would be in Modern Masters 2017 coming out in March. I will say however that your question would better be asked before you make the investment. It's a little pointless to ask "Is it a safe buy?" AFTER you make the purchase.

I doubt it's ever getting reprinted soon, or any time in the foreseeable future. Good luck, and may you ever avoid playing mill against dredge

Yeah maybe I should have asked before hand, but I am glad the consensus is how I was feeling. I figured even if it gets reprinted, over time it'll regain lost value.

If it does see a reprint, I don't think it will ever get back up to the $30+ range like it is now. The good thing is that it is a tough card to reprint, since it destroys whatever draft format it gets reprinted in. If Wizards decides to focus on how fun MM17 will be to draft instead of going after corner-case expensive Modern cards, it will likely not see a reprint any time soon.

I don't see it getting reprinted anytime soon, mill just isn't that popular, and Glimpse really isn't that expensive. We should see Snapcaster in MM17 before this.That said I LOVE THIS CARD. The simplicity and powerlevel of it is on point imo.

The only reprint I can imagine would be MM17. Other than that, I can't see it getting reprinted.
