Recently I obtained Narset, Enlightened Master in the russian language by accident. Does anyone has any experience/knowledge with an online foreign pricelist elsewhere?

I have been told that russian cards tend to be more pricy due to their limited availability.

As far as I know, Russian cards have similar prices to English ones but the foil ones tend to be worth more (2x but don't quote me).

depends on the card, foils are usually hugely expensive, foils for popular EDH, Modern, Legacy and Vintage deck sell for multiple times their English counterparts. A normal narset won't really change your life tbh

Sought after Russian foils are very rare. slovakattack is the guy to ask about those. Ebay is usually a good place to get a price as nobody has a set supply of them.

Non-foil Russian cards might carry a 1.5-2x multiplier, but no more than that.

Wow, it's been ages since I've had anyone mention me by name here... I should really get back to being active in the community. Thanks, ducttapedeckbox! (how are you, btw? Been ages.)

Unfortunately, non-foil russian cards are barely worth more than their english counterparts, with only the most sought-after cards (goyf, fetchlands etc.) holding reasonably larger price-points. Foils, however, are another matter entirely. Foils of extremely popular cards (the aformentioned goyf, fetches, liliana otv, basically anything that's highly sought after for competitive play) can be exponentially more expensive.

However, I would not classify Narset as one of the above-mentioned cards. She's a popular edh commander, but that amounts to fringe play at best. It'll be tough selling her, and if I had one in foil and wanted to get rid of it, i'd take a reasonable cut in theoretical price to move her.

As for where to sell it, there's a Facebook group that specializes in russian language cards. That's probably your best bet. There's also ebay, of course.

Uhh you should be, slovakattack! And no problem, if I remember correctly you once opened a Russian foil Polluted Delta and also were always opening foreign cards, so I figured I'd tag you.

ducttapedeckbox: Yeah, I don't do that any more. Too much of a pain to move lol. It seems like my time just up and vanished over the last few years =(

...I'll have to start budgeting it differently.

I feel that. My school work keeps growing exponentially and it takes away from the time I'd like to be spending on Magic-related things.

Do you still get to play at all?

ducttapedeckbox: I do, but not as much as I'd like. I'm actually pretty excited, as I just finished ordering the final cards for the very first iteration of my cube!

I also finished my R/W legacy goblins list last week, and have yet to be able to play it!

I don't know if people are interested in commander picture deck-techs, but I've been thinking of maybe putting a few up on the website?

How about you? What have you been up to?

I've always wanted to build a cube, but very few of my friends still play Magic, so I don't think it would be put to much use...

What do you mean by a picture deck-tech?

Not much, really. I've been perfecting my UTron build for Modern, and unfortunately got dragged back into Standard (read: white, the format) since it's the only paper format I'll be able to play for the next two months. I also started up an article series while I'm off for the summer. The first is currently on the homepage if you haven't seen it :]
