Hey all, I pulled a foil Dragonlord Ojutai in my prize support. It looks like eBay is going for $25. Ideas on sell or hold?

I personally would drop it. I could be wrong, but I don't see any of the dragonlords holding thst high foil pric.

I think it was one of the possible pre-release foil pulls, so I say sell now. Unless some deck in Modern or Legacy figures out a way to break it, it won't hold its foil price.

KB2187 - I think it is pretty safe to drop it at $25. Unless Shaheen Soorani's Esper deck becomes the next big thing, it probably won't get any higher than $25.

Hans49163 - I would definitely drop Dragonlord Dromoka. I can't see it going for more than $38.

It will plummet. Not immediately but it will. Ditch it now to guarantee the highest value.

Sell it, buy a normal one if you want instead of foil then leave the profit to buying packs, sleeves, single etc.

Hold the prerelease foils. Soon there will be more pack foils.

I would say it depends on how long you are willing to keep it. It is a unique legendary creature, and will certainly see play in commander, in which case there will always be a market for it. I don't see it receiving any sort of reprint where it could be foiled again, so if you wait long enough, it will go up. I also don't see it going down a lot though, maybe when it rotates out of standard, I personally would keep it until there is something I really want to trade for, probably throw it in one of my many EDH decks.
