Cutting cut foil uncut sheets?

I don't have one but I was just wondering if someone were to take their cut foil uncut sheet from the latest extremely expensive magic product that I can't remember the name of and cut the cards out could that person just use those cards in an official event or would that just be stupid because the sheet is worth more uncut? Would the cards even be legal if they were cut out of the cut foil uncut sheet?

If you have an uncut sheet it's worth more when you make a total ass of yourself and slaughter the job of cutting it. Key is recording it and uploading the video to youtube... nerds would get triggered and you'd make more $ than the sheet was worth lol. Weird World we live in but I honestly think this statement would turn out to be true.

The key to the video is you have to be stone faced serious that you're after a $10ish foil right in the middle of the sheet that you 'really need and no one has'.

I've been looking for it for like THREE TO FOUR WEEKS! Can you believe that?!? Noone at my LGS has one and the store's sold out! Good thing I've got one right HERE! Points to middle of an uncut sheet

Essentially if you wanted to play with them you would need to go to a professional printing business who has the proper machines to cut them properly with precision while also be willing to lose the sheet if they do a crap job.

Seriously though... I bet it'd make you more money through views than the $130 the sheet is worth.
It checks a lot of boxes that trigger people lol.

If you cut a sheet into cards, they are called NFC, or non-factory-cut. There is a community for NFC cards, and usually the NFC's from the sheet are worth a lot more than the sheet itself. I recently had a War of the Spark sheet cut. I paid $225 in total to buy the sheet and to get it cut, and will sell the cards I got for a lot more. I've already sold all of the bulk for $200, and still have 25 cards worth $10 or more each.
If you get a sheet cut, do not do it yourself. There are 2 trusted professionals who cut sheets extremely well. Always go through them. Do not get a sheet cut any other way ever. They're easy to get in touch with through facebook.
If you get your sheet cut professionally and have the cards cut reasonably (not too off-center), then the cards will be tournament legal. It is always up to the discretion of the head judge, and 99% of head judges will allow a professionally cut NFC.
There are a LOT of people who don't like NFC cards. But when you actually crunch the numbers, it is profitable to have sheets cut.

Last_Laugh I got no more guts to bust. It's funny because you're spot on. I can picture it... I imagine a rage-out when the guy discovers that he grabbed pinking shears, so now he has an awesome scallop-cut pile of paper where something cool used to be.

Dont cut a sheet ever. its always worth more than the individual cards u want off of it.
But as long as you can cut it so it looks legit and doesnt bulge out of a sleeve, you should be able to use it. Theyre official card stock, front and back.
