Buying Voices and Decays. Do or Don't.

I'm considering buy a set of both Voice of Resurgence and Abrupt Decay . Voices would be $55 and decays about $45. I understand the cards will go up in value post rotation, but by how much? Is this $100 really going to pay off in the long run? Or will I just get back maybe 120 to 130?

Abrupt decay will eventually hit highs of 30/40 bucks. It's a necessity for black decks (like thoughtseize) with the condition the deck also have green in it.
VOS? Not sure.

I bought the decays. I haven't bought voices yet, because I'm not sure. I know they're mythics, so they're harder to get, but I don't know how their prices are going to look in the future.

Thry will probably stay right around where they are now. The only place i ever see them is in Pod lists, and only asva one or two of. Some death and taxes players like them too, but probably not enough to warrent a demand.

Both will go up over time. I would guess Decays will get to $30+, and VOS probably around $20. Voice is played in Pod, Hatebears, Junk, and some Death and Taxes. It's played in almost no Standard decks, so it's present demand is almost exclusively from Modern.

I sold my voices, but I'm hoarding as many decays as I can get hold of. They're a better investment. If you want to play with voices picking up a playset isn't a bad idea, but I'd wait until a little closer to rotation. The standard demand isn't quite zero and there will be some people dumping them.

Decays are the better investment. They're probably the best investments in the RTt block right now. But I do think Voice will hold it's value post rotation, and creep up eventually. If given the choice between a set of each and 2 sets of Decays though, I'd take 2 sets of Decays in a heartbeat.

I paid around 25 each for my Voice of Resurgence while I think it'll go up in the long run. I sure have got more than 100$ worth of mileage out of them. Card is awesome.
Abrupt Decay is the shit, such a powerhouse with a huge demand. If u plan to play black competitively in modern then Abrupt Decay is an absolute must. It's played in Legacy, and is worth splashing for in decks that Path to Exile or Lightning Bolt can't fill the shoes...

I sold a Voice when RtR was first out for $35, and just picked one up for my Melira deck, after playtesting proved it was pretty sweet, for $17.50.
