Archenemy/planeschase deck finds???

Okie so I have a little secret that feel sharing.

Well it's not that bad, but still it's alittle bit cheating to be honest.

So in my town there are two specific store chains that sell little deck packages in a plastic container for 20 dollars. You get two booster packs and a sealed intro deck. Not bad right.

Well already on three separate occasions I've found planeschase and archenemy decks in these containers. Not the oversized cards or anything but the regular decks, you know the ones that have Death Baron and Cabal Coffers to Duplicant and Memnarch; those decks. I pulled those from a 20 dollar investment, which feels good and bad at the same time.

Now my reason for pointing this out is, have any of you found things like this in store chains where you live? Surely I'm not the only one who exploits this...

Its not an exploit, they know what theyre selling at least to some degree. I am constantly checking those little cube things out, but the ones around me never have anything older than RTR. They're basically just repacks of things that a distributor had left over and is looking to offload in bulk.

No fair, all I ever see is garbage decks and you're seeing planechase and archenemy.

So when you say store chains, what are we talking, here? Like, say, Wal-Mart or something?

Wal-Mart, target, those are the ones I check. They dont go through their product much but ill check them whenever I get to stop by on the chance that they do have them.

Hmm, yeah, that's pretty cool! I've seen them once or twice if I'm in there for whatever reason. I'll make sure to look at 'em now and see if I can figure out what's in there.

A few months ago I went into a small video rental store in my area. Although not a card shop they do sell some Magic Boosters. I actually went in there to rent a movie and noticed they had a box of "From the Vault: Exiled". Asked them how much and they told me $30. So obviously I picked that up. Felt kind of bad but at the same time one of their long-time employees is consistently the worst customer service ever. So maybe not that bad =P

Considering how expensive MTG can be, I've learned to poker face incredible deals like that. Doesn't mean I'm going to card shark an individual, but when a store doesn't bother getting accurate pricing on these things, Imma take advantage of it!
