Would these be decent in delver?

I was digging through my collection, looking for Sleight of Hands to replace Treasure Cruise. I found 1x, but I foun a few other things that seemed decent.

What do you guys think about Rapid Hybridization + Young Pyromancer, hitting an elementals. The token you destroy is replaced, you get a 3/3, and you get a prowess trigger. Or do it on the opponents end step so you can swing with the 3/3, if you dont have Monastery Swiftspear out.

Also, Triton Tactics seems like really good sideboard against burn/aggro decks.

Reach Through Mists seems like a functional replacement until I can get something better.

This is where theyre going: Treasure Cruised Away

Let me know what you think. Thanks for looking

Think twice seems like the best alternative

Serum Visions, Gitaxian Probe, and Think Twice are all excellent.

I would rate them

Probe > visions > think twice > sleight of hand > reach through.

Probe is the best because it's free. Serum visions is really good because it let's you dig through 3 cards essentially. Being able to put 2 on the bottom is super good. Think twice comes next because its more than just a cantrip. Sleight of hand scores fairly low because it's sorcery speed and only digs through 2 cards. You are also forced to put one card on the bottom which us judt objectively worse than scrying which gives you choice.

I'm with VampireArmy. Other options would be Perilous Research and Compulsive Research. Sacrificing a token or a creature being targeted by removal is hardly a huge cost for the first one while your 20 or so lands should make you draw into a land when you pop the second one.

You can't play a 3 mana sorcery in delver

Perilous looks plausible. If you don't have a token, tossing a land isn't too much a set back normally

Meh. I wouldn't play it. Delver should be an 18 land deck that wants to hit 4 lands. That means you can basically only use it in response to remove.

Do you guys think it's a problem to use Rapid Hybridization on their stuff since most of the time your things will be smaller than a 3/3 (aside from the Swiftspear.) I suppose it's smaller than a Goyf.

Yes. There's the new blue one that does it and then let's them manifest so it gives a 2/2. It also exiles. There's also Dismember.

Serum Visions > Gitaxian Probe > Sleight of Hand

Anything else costs too much. In my worthless opinion

2 mana at instant speed is fine because you'll be holding it up for counterspells anyway.

reality shift might be better than rapid hybridization, theres a huge difference between 3/3 and 2/2. swiftspear only needs 1 trigger to get through, and the exile is huge.

But you could manifest some OP creature.

There aren't really op creatures in modern. The vast number of decks run a great deal of instants and sorcerer. With pod gone this is more true than ever.

That's true...
