Which of these 3 beaters would would you use in modern?

I'm trying to build a Rakdos(B/R) modern deck. I'm looking towards my 3 drops and I can't decide on which I should use Shambling Remains Ashenmoor Gouger , or Hell's Thunder ?
I don't know what your deck is or is trying to do, but wouldn't other 3 drops like Vampire Nighthawk or Ball Lightning do the job better?

There's probably not any BR 3 drops you should be playing with in modern other than Liliana of the veil. It would help if we had a decklist though

Also at xlaleclx what a ignorant statement. Let's see. Boros Reckoner Fulminator Mage Geralf's Messenger just to name three off the top of my head. Nighthawk is pretty legit, hells thunder is seeing some play in suicide rbw. All in all, from the things you say on here you give me serious bad vibes.

None of those are good cards in modern in just any deck, Fulminator mage is a good sideboard card against some decks but not a card you want in your mainboard in any random deck where its on colour, it's just going to be a stone rain a lot of the time. The other cards you listed are just way too slow and not impactful enough.

Also how is that an ignorant statement? Saying that bad cards are bad in hope that people don't play them? If anything it's ignorant to encourage people to play cards like Ashenmoor Gouger in modern

You can literally win a game with reckoner (see Skred ) the mage is good tech in a meta full of non basic lands, the messenger is used in most devo black. Are these tier decks? No. Then again either is a rakdos build. Sometimes you gotta think outside the top 8

OT: It really depends on what the style of deck is that you are trying to build. A R/B RDW-style deck will want to run different cards than a R/B midrange-style deck.
For the former, I'd suggest something like Hell's Thunder . For the latter, attrition-y cards like Boros Reckoner , Phyrexian Obliterator , and Geralf's Messenger .

Demigod is a sweet card, but dross is stricly for that opening hand to push them past the initial mark. I know it's kind of Janky, but even revealing one followed by a bump or a one drop creature sets me far ahead of the game. faithless loots put drosses in the yard to be fodder for moltentail, plus it nets me card. The ultimate combo is by random probability I draw soul spikes (2) and four drosses and win the game opening hand

It's possible thing for sure but how probable? Would you rather win like that a small percentage of the time or up the amount of times you have a chance of winning overall?
