Which is better????

Trying to figure out which card is better, Serum Visions or Preordain. Personal experience and mathematical breakdown would be awesome!
I think serum visions was only as pricey as it was because it only had the one printing in Fifth Dawn. Now they printed it in one of the masters sets so its price has dropped to a more appropriate level.

Preordain is better because you can see the two you may draw and move them to the bottom if you don't like them. It's in most of my decks that have blue, just too good of a one drop and allows for some minor deck manipulation. Hasn't ever really burned me considering I have the option of what I'm drawing.

Also you normally uses fetches afterwards so that extra scrying some times does nothing

Preordain simply because of the order. Letting you control what you draw from it is a huge advantage. Hence why preordain is banned in modern but visions is not
