What to do with Mind Stonefoil?

Deck Help forum

So I recently acquired a playset of promo Mind Stones. And I have no idea what to do with them. Anyone have any ideas about what deck they would go well in? I'm looking through old standard decks that use a playset and I'm seeing WR Ajani, UB Control, and UW Lark.

Anyone know of other decks that would benefit from a playset of early game colorless ramp and late game draw? Doesn't have to competitive, just has to be (relatively) cheap (like no more than $150) and fun!

Eggs!

Maybe U-Tron, but I doubt it.

You keep them in your binder because commander is a thing and mind stone is usually the 6th or so rock you'll shove in a deck.

TheDevicer I'm really looking to use them. The art is stunning and I've always preferred to have cards sleeved and ready to play than sitting in binders.

But right now I'm running a jank RUG ramp that feels like an unholy hybrid of Wildfire decks and kessig ramp decks from the ISD standard with Primeval Titan

Ryotenchi that's what I've been trying to do. There's Urza: The Legacy, eggs, and the other idea that I've played around with is adopted the two decks that used mind stone last time it was standard legal, which are Boat Brew and UW Lark. Boat is far too weak for modern (though perhaps I should fiddle around more. Not a huge fan of boros so I haven't done much with it yet) and UW Lark is far too slow to be even tier 3.

I think some kind of MUD deck could get use from it. Anything that needs a bunch of colorless mana. It would be important to know what format you want to play, and exactly how serious you want to be with it, and what kind of budget you have to build the deck.
